A HERITAGE PARKLAND GARDEN WHICH BEGAN LIFE AS A 'COBB & CO.' OUTPOST IN THE 1890'S AND HAS SLOWLY EVOLVED INTO A MUCH CHERISHED FAMILY FARM GARDEN.We have been dealing with Sarah and the Caledonian Landscape Team for more than 15 years. Sarah originally came to us for a Garden Design for a property we owned in town, recommended by my Mother who was a avid gardener and knew of Sarah and her passion for garden design.
Now some 15 years later we deal with Sarah pretty much on a weekly if not fortnightly discussing the ongoing development, care, proposed plantings, design and overall, the health and ongoing development of our beautiful “Rosebank” garden.
We wouldn’t be able to have such a wonderful asset without her guidance and love for our garden.
- Mark & Maree Coleman, Forest Reefs NSW
‘Rosebank‘ garden near Forest Reefs, NSW, began as a resting place for Cobb and Co stagecoah passengers back in the 1890’s. As a working rural property, it became a farm garden protecting the original homestead from the elements and supporting its inhabitants at work and play. When the present owners bought the house and farm back in 2018 there was already a mature parkland filled with an extensive variety of botanical specimens. Alongside house renovations in 2019, the development of a detailed Plant Survey allowed the creation of a broadscale Landscape Master Plan: This broadscale plan has morphed over the years responding to seasonal change, infrastructure and vibrant collaboration with a team of local gardeners and trades people. The garden has grown with the Coleman children and will hopefully be enjoyed by future generations.
